This year I decided to take another term at Kyosil, and this is the result. I was mentored by Alex Snow, and I got additional feedback from Hyrum Osmond, who also inspired me to try animating a singing character in the first place. My aim for this shot was to match the emotion of the song, while keeping the performance subtle and believable.
